Post-Week Power Rankings (Week 3)

Daren Lincourt

12. CoronaVirus Crowns (0-3) Having your star player still injured and being 0-3 to start is a strain on anyone and I don’t just mean McCaffery’s hamstring. He’ll only miss three or so more weeks (hopefully) but without him there’s still a hole to fill for points production (297 total PF is the leagues 2nd lowest). That lack of points puts the crowns last for me. With the Bills this week (I mean Premarital Fournettecation) hopefully a first win can be pulled off.

11. Waddlin Tua MAHOMIES (1-2) A wins a win for the Mahomies and last week it went to the luckier group of the night. I have a soft spot for Mahomes in fantasy but with a starting roster without Michael Thomas and multiple starters from the Giants unreliable offense there’s a lot of ground to make up. Not every week will be a battle for the 1st win though opportunity is there with another close match up this week makes for a prime chance to try to waddle to 2-2.

10. FloridaState Seminal Vesicles (1-2) Can you dig for any more WR points? Following last week’s dud leading to the league’s lowest PF (by a point at 296) makes for 10th this week. I like this roster a lot with solid RB’s and WR’s but production has got to be there. With a tough matchup this week hopefully Alex’s luck can turn around.

9. Koo Koo Ka Choo (1-2) Luck wasn’t there this past week with a lack of needed production from WR’s, the Saint’s defense filled the touchdown role just a bit better (it pains me to say that). With the all-around more talented team this week the luck should come around for the Koo.

8. Premarital Fournettecation (1-2) I really just wanted to trash talk the Bills here, another week maybe because this team certainly showed up to play. 45 points for Josh Allen, hopefully he can keep up the high production going forward. With Kamara and a solid WR core this team looks prime to go for 2-2.

7. Morning Chubb (1-2) Of all the teams at 1-2 this one is my favorite bet to improve. Some bad luck on production and facing 45 points from Josh Allen doesn’t make for a good week. This roster has a lot of potential with deep depth at each position, I expect a mid to late season push towards a lot more dubs.

6. That’s Football (2-1) Even without certain starters this team was productive enough to take the dub. Aaron Rodgers certainly looks like his old self so no more worries of a week 1 repeat. With D’Andre Smith paving the way this team edged out a nice victory. Looking towards the future WR depth may be cause for some concern though at 2-1 there’s plenty of time to figure it out. With 11 moves already this season Al is certainly on it.

5. Cassius Darsh (2-1) I sure don’t like ranking myself, 5th seems a good spot considering my high PF at 389. Had similar luck with a lot of the other league members with duds at WR and didn’t come up with enough at the end (Zeke almost did it!) With a tough matchup this week I gotta stay hopeful to get the dub.

4. Crazy Train (2-1) This lineup has the third best PF in the league though I’m not entirely sold on the lineup. A solid receiving core makes up the points under Thielen and Kelce along with a stud in Joe Mixon. I’m curious to see if Jalen Hurts can continue to remain a consistent starter into later weeks. A tough loss with production but with a good match up to come the Crazy Train will be back on track.

3. Can You Diggs It? (2-1) My pick for 2nd and 3rd are probably my most difficult for the week. I like both of their line ups and both went for easy dubs on the week. In the end it came down to production and Kaelan edged Kenny with a high PF total and a more explosive points total this week. Still Kenny has a solid roster going forward.

2. Team Suspension (2-1) With 141 points on the week and a nice 2-1 record Kaelan has earned the 2nd spot on the week. Led by Herbert and solid WR play by Jefferson and Kupp it was a good day for touchdowns and a high overall score. I like this line up though three Quarterbacks listed leaves me some food for thought.

1. Conner Party (3-0) Being the only undefeated team when the dust settles has got to be a good feeling. Earning 144.2 points is no small feat, led by Prescott and with solid days from all skill positions down the line. With Derick Henry paving the way reliably each week with a solid roster this team is primed to make a playoff push. Jared deserves the spotlight for now, let’s see if he can keep the undefeated run going towards 4-0.
