OMAHA, NE - As is tradition, the Breakfast League met by conference call on Monday evening on the Holiest of Days, Draft Day to discuss various ideas. The League elected a Commissioner and discussed four proposals.

Commissioner Kenneth Pancake was re-elected to a sixth year of leadership by a majority of seven votes. The Runner-Up was Kaelan Carlson, receiving two votes (himself and his candidate for Lieutenant Commissioner).

The first proposal for discussion was a suggestion by Charter Member Sean Alumbaugh to reduce the point value of a Quarterback passing touchdown from six points to four points. This value had been at the ESPN standard of four points until the league increased it in 2016. The proposal to return it to pre-expansion standards was shot down with eight votes against.

The second proposal (pitched by Senior Member Alex Annan) would create the Hall of Shame. Much like the Hall of Fame, the Commissioner would propose candidates to be voted on. Three would be included in the Class of 2019, and one would be added every year thereafter. The proposal was approved by a vote of 8-1.

Third, a suggestion by Lieutenant Commissioner Al Ohlinger (having just been re-elected on the Pancake ticket) would establish an Injured Reserve spot on the roster, beginning in the year 2020. This was approved on an 8-2 vote.

Finally, a fourth suggestion by Commissioner Pancake would outlaw any Constitutional or Settings changes during the season. The season is defined as from the downbeat of the Draft to the conclusion of the final game of the fantasy season. This was approved on a unanimous 8-0 vote.

The season will begin on Thursday.
