Hello Everyone!

Welcome to another season of the Fantasy Football with The Breakfast League. It is great to be back and I am happy to be taking on some writing responsibilities for the league.

What a great first week! It is when we all get reminded how much Fantasy Football sucks and how difficult it is because we basically have to be psychic to win all the time. With that being said though, I think we can all agree that Fantasy Football, though annoying, is incredibly fun and we would not give it up, even if everyone of our starters got hurt Week 1.

As you all know, this is my first time doing my own Power Rankings and while writing them, I realize just how difficult they can be. So, I appreciate all the work that Kenneth and Al put into these just to have us b%^ch and whine about them. With that being said, I imagine that my rankings might make you feel the same way, so I apologize in advance. Do know that this is how I would truly rank these teams, even if I had no stake in them.

Pitter Padder, Let's Get At Er!!

12: Devante's Inferno - Jared Kmiecik: 0-1 (Last Week - 5th)

Someone has to be last and unfortunately it had to be Jarodness Carmichael. Having the lowest weekly score this week with 65.7 to too big to ignore. He did have a decent QB score with Kyler Murray but it was plagued by inconsistent and low scoring players. Jared did leave some points on the bench too, which is the downfall to any and every fantasy team out. If Jared can make some moves, get the right players starting, he could make a better name for himself in the coming weeks.

11: Memphis Mayfield - Kenneth Pancake: 0-1 (Last Week - 8th)

First off, congrats to our reelected commissioner. Kenneth did not have a great week this week. Low scores from QB, RB1 did not help him. His 1st round draft pick of Gurley may come back to haunt him unless Gurley gets back to his status from last year soon. RB2, TE and FLEX had decent scores but not enough to carry him. If Kenneth had played Josh Brown and Kurt Cousins, he could hosted a better score and challenged for the win. If Mayfield and Gurley get back at it and put up more points, Kenneth's team could grab some wins this season.

10: Saving Private Ryan - Aaron Green: 0-1 (Last Week - 10th)

This team is what every fantasy owner does not want to see in the first week. Tyreek Hill down and out for 4-6 weeks. A.J Green out, and Derrius Guice is currently listed as Doubtful. Injuries are a plague to fantasy teams and Saving Private Ryan has caught it. The antidote could be found in Hilton, Ertz and Ryan, so hopefully these big players can consistently put up good numbers and Aaron can make some good moves to replace players with injuries. If those things happen, Aaron could be moving up the rankings soon.

9: Stop Looking At My Peter, Man - Dan Jackson Jr: 0-1 (Last Week - 6th)

Poor showing from this team save fort RBs, FLEX and K. WR2 had a decent score and good score from TE Kittle. Dan had a big scorer on the bench which could have won the matchup for him this week. It is so hard to know who is going to go off for big points, so not really faulting him for that. The main reason for his placement at 9th is I struggle to find how this team will be putting up those big points that are need to win. I would like to his QB and WRs step up for bigger points so that this team can pose a challenge for other squads in this league.

8: Crazy Train - Sean Alumbaugh: 0-1 (Last Week - 1st)

With the biggest drop in our rankings, we have Sean with his team Crazy Train. Inconsistent scores from player to player on his team, and a few looming injuries are what have Sean at this spot, along what I consider to be a low score after looking around the scoreboard from the week. However, I do believe that his team has more to offer. Look for Montgomery and Cooks to have better weeks soon. Sean did leave some points on the bench so if Sean can find who is going to have the best week, and starts them, look for Sean higher in the rankings in coming weeks.

7: Turn Left And Goff - RJ Dechow: 1-0 (Last Week - 7th)

This is where it got tough for me. The main reason for RJ's placement here is due to the massive amounts of points left on the bench. This team will continue to win games but finding the right guys and the good matchups are keys to taking the championship. So, I leave RJ where he was from last week. I would like to see more production from the RBs and then RJ will be tough to beat. He has got the players, just putting them in the right place is the challenge here. I fully expect RJ to climb these rankings very soon.

6. Colorado Farmers - Alex Annan: 0-1 (Last Week - 2nd)

I do have strong faith in this team and believe that this week was a coin flip. I need to see more production from Zeke and made a mistake starting the Pittsburg D/ST against the Patriots. This team has depth and had the highest score of any team that lost this week, as well as had a higher score the Turn Left And Goff. RB2 was a disappointment but I really liked that my kicker can put up good numbers, 16 points which was the 3rd highest scorer on my team. With better production from RBs, look for this team to make a run.

5: Team Suspension - Kaelan Carlson: 1-0 (Last Week - 3rd)

Not much to say about Kaelan's team this week. He had a good week, big scorers in his starting lineup. I would have liked to have seen more production from the lower scoring positions on his team. It is hard to rely on a few players to always get you the W. With more consistent production from his whole team, Kaelan be a threat this week. Also both QBs scoring 31 and 43,6, that is dangerous. Kaelan could have some trade value if he needs it down the road.

4: Lincoln Riley's Offense - Brandon Gaede: 1-0 (Last Week - 9th)

I gave Brandon the edge over Kaelan due to the consistency of his team this week. Good scores all around save for D/ST and K. Having a K who . can get you 9-12 each week always helps and D/ST is always a crap-shoot. Brandon did leave points on the bench but I cannot fault him too much for that since he got the W and had good scores from most of the team. If Brandon can continue to get good production with some higher overall scores, look for Brandon to be a threat this year

3: Punting is Winning - Al Ohlinger: 1-0 (Last Week - 4th)

Really nice score from Al this week. All his top scorers save for RB2 (only by .5pts) were starting and they did a great job. Al's team looks good and if he can continue to put up numbers like this week, it could be Al's year. More production from RB2 will help him achieve that. Be worried if you are playing Al!

2: Calculated Madness - Ethan Maas: 1-0 (Last Week - 11th)

Second biggest jump in the rankings for Ethan this week. His team was carried by Mahomes and Larry Fitz but no poor showing from anyone on the team. Higher production from RBs and WR1 will help support the team and give Ethan a leg up on the competition. Look for Ethan to be a threat this year as well.

1: The Rampaging Koala Bears - Eli Thompson: 1-0 (Last Week - 12th)

HOLY S*&T, Eli. I had to give the top spot to Eli due to a few things. First, he had the highest score of the league, he got the W, and he did it all with an AutoDrafted team. Had Eli started all of his top scorers, he could have score 209.9 PTS. Not sure if that is the highest score ever but it is up there. Hopefully Eli can keep it up with these high scores and take the league for himself! If this continues, it is Eli's league and we are all playing in it.

Thank you so much everyone for letting me do the Power Rankings this week. If you feel I should have said something different or what to talk to me about these, please feel free! Good Luck to everyone this season! We will see you next time!

PEACE!
