Week 8 PR by Daren

Week 8 PR With Week 8 in the close Halloween spookiness comes around. Some teams (like mine rip) feel pretty dead in the water while others are truly a terrifying fright. The ups and downs of the season will continue with only the scariest lineups proving to be the best of the gridiron nights. I wanted to have the PR out early this week to match the holiday so enjoy.

12. Love and Flowers Cee Dee Lamb had himself a day alongside a solid showing from two RB’s who've been questionable all year. With consistency there and with Love playing more like he did to start the season this team can fight out of its 2-6 start. The scariest thing this team has to worry about is most likely Arthur Smith’s gameplan.

11. From The Logo! It was a great week but it’s hard to beat a team that drops 171. Still the scoring potential is there and will work better into next week’s matchup. Tua’s still the guy and this team will win or lose through him. That week 10 Bye will be the fright here leading into some most win weeks to stay alive or at least show out.

10. Koo Koo Ka Choo A close win over a top contender, thanks to Joe Burrow finally looking the part he did preseason. With two studs at wide receiver uncertainty lies with the RB’s, Kareem splitting touches with Ford and Rhamondre suffering from *on a bad team this year syndrome*. If Kareem can continue to get more touches and if the Pats can turn it on then this team can roll. Biggest horror here is the Pat's joining in tanking for Caleb.

9. Old Yellers With a low scoring game from Lamar and Aaron Jones still having a lingering hamstring issue, my teams in a rough spot entering week 9. I have a great WR1 in AJ Brown with a couple okay options for WR2, especially if Murray comes back soon to start for the Cardinals. If Aaron Jones continues to have an injury linger for the rest of the year then it’s a tough fix with questionable depth at RB. That hamstring lingering will be my fear going forward.

8. Crazy Train Hard to beat Josh Allen when he’s rolling but 109 isn't a bad scoring week. The lineup is solid throughout though it's hard to pick a true WR1 on the team. Looking ahead both QB options are on bye this week leaving the starting QB up in the air for Week 9. Finding the right QB this week especially might be an all out bidding war for the few options left. Ekeler has got to step up big next week to make up the difference, with that extra day's rest he should be good to go. Biggest spook here comes this week, what lineup makes the cut.

7. San Diego State Fightin Araizas Inactivity is a real bad look, I hope Dan can resume or check in asap. Still how is this team 5-3. Now that's scary, imagine having a worse record then a set and forgotten team. Well it's reality for a lot of us and it's simply some bad luck. All it takes is setting the lineup once to be a contender with Kupp and Taylor on the bench. All it takes is Dan rising from the dead to become a team that could make a push.

6. Left Handed Corn Dogz Coming off a rough week into what looks like another bad matchup. This team’s been riddled with injuries but at 4-4 and with JJ possibly coming back at some point there's hope. 6th might be a high placement given the current lineup but with horrendous injuries across the board credit for the past has got to be given. With an uncertain RB room it’s a rough streak going forward outside of some good luck. With the fear of JJ being out 6+ weeks I’d say it's looking pretty grim.

5. Its a Love Story Kelce Just Say Losing to someone who’s inactive is rough but hey, it was by no means a blowout. With Patty Mahomes and Kelce going into a matchup against Miami this week, it could be a shootout. Last week might have been a fluke, this one has the potential to be far better. That is if all the bye weeks don't drag you down.

4. Iowa City Mo Huge win led by Josh Allen with great scoring days all around. At this rate the team is certainly one of the best contenders to win it all this year. The top 4 are definitely my playoff picks with it being hard to tell who’s gonna move into the best spot. This coming week brings a lot of byes for Iowa City Mo which definitely spells trouble going up against one of the best lineups in the league. With Allen playing the Bengals this coming week, if it's a shootout then Chase can feast as well. Is it enough to keep up to a team that scored even more last week, only time can tell.

3. Cousins had a Kittle Lamb With 4 straight wins this team is finally doing as well as its roster looks. Losing Kirk is a big blow but with a lineup as stacked as this one replacing him shouldn't be too difficult. Another team that's heavy on byes this week but if the QB issue is fixed it shouldnt make too much of a difference. At 4-4 I see the streak continuing on, only if you can beat out another contender this week. Which QB is the best option and at what cost, that’s the uncertainty that will decide the pace of the rest of the season.

2. Saqoun Deez Nuts Coming off a close loss the trend looks unlikely to continue with a great lineup for next week. The lineup has no real holes and should certainly continue to make a run at the crown. Herbert played a great game but a lot of the team didn't score as well as expected. Fluke weeks happen but don't worry what are the odds it happens twice in a row.

1. Team Suspension A good week and a star studded lineup earns the spot of #1 this week, though all of my top 4 could fit any of the spots. Bye weeks continue to be the trend this week with alot of star players off this week. It’s a shame Hopkins had 32 points on the bench last week but if he does anywhere close again it'll make the star powered lineup even more terrifying. This week’s matchup is against the luckiest run in the league. Will his luck continue or is this team going to begin the end.
