Founder, charter member and incumbent Kenneth Pancake will face a challenger in his quest for re-election.

Sophomore member Dan Jackson Jr. has decided to run against the 2016 Breakfast League champion, saying, "Well, I can't let you run unopposed."

As the members of the Breakfast League begin to research their potential draft picks, they will first have to choose between a Commissioner with a record, and a candidate without one. "I think Pancake is a proven leader," says Breakfast League Chief Creeper, Behn Nost (an official role). "But, on the other hand, maybe Dan the Man will shake things up for the better."

"Yeah, I'm running again," said four-year incumbent Kenneth Pancake. "I mean, I built you guys a website, so I have that going for me." If elected, Pancake will choose Al Ohlinger as his Lieutenant Commissioner.

Jackson was initially unavailable for comment.

The election will be held on August 11th, at 7 PM CT.
