BELLEVUE, NE - Commissioner Kenneth Pancake announced late Friday morning his intentions to run once again for re-election.

Pancake announced his slogan, "Pay Yer Dues," releasing a semi-threatening picture of a pancake with teeth (above).

He also named his running mate (Lieutenant Commissioner Al Ohlinger). "Al has always done a great job with the Bubble Tracker," said the Commissioner. "The nerds shall inherit the earth." Ohlinger has been the Lieutenant Commissioner since the 2017 season.

Additionally, he promised to name Alex Annan to the unofficial role of Assistant Commissioner if re-elected. "Alex's work on the Great Reformation of 2019 was stellar," said Pancake. "So I had to make sure he had a title to go with that big head of his."

Pancake touts his record of fiscal conservatism, along with passion and dedication for the Breakfast League. Critics have pointed to his overly-showy outfits on the Holiest of Days, Draft Day as a possible indicator that the Commissioner may have let the power go to his head; however, Pancake has since purchased a new assembly of clothes for the day.

Pancake served as the League's un-elected Commissioner from the founding in 2014 to the adoption of the League Constitution in 2016, where he was formally elected for the first time. He has since won re-election in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

No other members have announced their candidacy at this time. The election will be held on the Holiest of Days, Draft Day, sometime before the Draft's commencement at 7 PM CT.
