With another week finished we hit the last few weeks of the season. Playoffs are still very much up in the air with plenty of matchups left that could make or break a lot of teams. This week has some tight rankings with a lot of teams being neck and neck with one another. So, sit back and relax and dive into my last picks of the year.
12. CoronaVirus Crowns (2-7) (896.44)
Another week done, another loss for the Crowns with the league low ppr and 2-7 record. What happened, well injuries and some poor luck. Even with playoffs out of the picture this teams in prime time to play spoiler on all the playoff hopefuls. McCaffrey’s healthy and Murray looks to be so soon, with those two this team can squeak out some wins.
11. Waddlin Tua MAHOMIES (3-7) (940.6)
46 points, man come on that’s so good! To go with what I said above, playing spoiler can be fun when playoff chances are gone. Mahomes got me and if he keeps playing hot, he’ll catch some others too. Good win on the week with a high scoring affair, can Mahomes do it again this week? That was a fun week to watch even on the losing end but damn, Mahomes really do be that good.
10. That’s Football (4-6) (1001.36)
Having 58 points on the week is a real stinker, it happens, that’s football for ya (please laugh). This roster has some very good running backs and just had a bad week in other departments. Much like Mahomes not hitting 46 each week, Matt Ryan won’t always hit just 1, sometimes he’ll even hit 2 (wrote this after the game haha) With a solid roster this week is a big matchup for staying in the playoff run.
9. FloridaState SeminalVesicles (5-5) (1011.02)
A good win on a large bye week even with what looked like a scary injury to Jones. With him healing up and being back soon this roster has some fire when healthy. With a tough matchup this week while filling the void made by Jones, the path to the playoffs is made that much harder. With some luck and some division losses this team still has a good shot.
8. Premarital Fournettecation (4-6) (1186.16)
My last chance to make fun of Dan oh boy. I would bring up Metcalf, but it seems I’m in that same category of Seattle blunders. With Kamara out you had a good backup for the week, it was just a tough matchup. Dan’s team has so many playmakers and points scorers that its confusing to see the 4-6 record. All hopes not lost though, win out and playoffs can still be there. Either way well have some exciting Pat’s Bill’s games to watch soon and maybe even some playoff surprises.
7. Morning Chubb (5-5) (1115.16)
With a whole lot of injuries and Matt Stafford it’s no wonder the score was 67. A lot of poor showings and lack of availability on bye weeks made for a poor week. Looking forward is a huge matchup this week to try to go for first in the ol Waffle division. This week’s matchup should be close warranting Chubb makes it out of covid protocol. That decision impacts not only the game but my Darsh boys as well. When the Browns start Johnson it’s gonna be a bad time. With a healthy lineup this team looks solid.
6. Team Suspension (5-5) (1122.94)
With a stud in Cooper Kupp this team got a nice victory with a lot of byes on the week. Cooper only gets better going forward with Robert Woods out for the season and OBJ being well himself this year. This week with a bye for the Rams is a different story. A healthy Barkley coming back should help to make up the difference in a tough matchup with the top team in the league.
5. Koo Koo Ka Choo (6-4) (1128.42)
A s win over a tough team led by Darrel Williams brings the Koo up to 6-4 in a tough division race towards playoffs. Can Lamar continue the trend, I genially think so going forward. This team is my sleeper pick to make it far this year if not win it all. A good roster with plenty of depth is certainly the formula for success. Our trade doesn’t feel to great right now with all the injuries but that’s how it is, everything worked out in the end with both teams being 6-4.
4. Cassius Darsh (6-4) (1158.18)
I will forever live in this 4th place spot I suppose. After a good week and a tough loss, the team has hit an injury streak. Woods out, Hopkins out for a few, Carson (I don’t even know at this point), that’s a lot of starters to replace. The JV Darsh squad won’t let down though with another solid outing from Johnson and my lord and savior Brady still being there. Much like some prior patriots’ teams I’ll start the water boy as receivers and running backs and still score with Brady. If this team can get healthier (or really just Seattle) it will be full throttle towards playoffs.
3. Can You Diggs It? (6-4) (1100.98)
With a rough showing and a loss on the week the playoff race is made that much more interesting. The team has great depth going on and a lot of big-time playmakers. The question remains who leads the team at QB, can Wentz do it, or will Russell Wilson return to prime. With a good matchup against a lower ranking team Can You Diggs It has a shot to move ahead in the rankings in the most competitive division right now in the league. That’s if Kenny can outplay McCaffrey.
2. Crazy Train (6-4) (1216.96)
Coming off a 132-point week with the 2nd highest ppr this teams looking stacked leading up to the playoffs. While winning the division might take some luck this team has one of the best rosters remaining in the league. With Darsh this week (oh no) there’s a chance to keep up the points and ride to playoffs. The team has a lot of good depth and strong starters available. That said I believe Jalen Hurts makes or breaks this team, both now and into the future.
1. Conner Party (8-2) (1226.42)
I’m going to keep putting this team here till they lose. First has been earned when you sit at 8-2 even with a lot of injuries. Scraped out a nice win on a tough matchup and found some luck in AJ Dillon with Jones out for at least a few weeks. With the playoffs coming soon hopefully this team’s remainder can stay healthy. RIP Derrick Henry
